Partial Dentures in Murrieta, CA
Missing teeth can make meals, conversations, and smiling feel harder than they should. A custom partial denture fills the gaps while working with the teeth you still have. At Peak Vision Dental, we take the time to get the fit and appearance right, so you can feel more comfortable and confident in daily life.
What Are Partial Dentures?
Partial dentures are removable restorations that replace one or more missing teeth. They’re designed to fit around your remaining teeth, giving you a more complete smile and helping you chew and speak more comfortably.
Dr. Kanter will examine your teeth and gums, talk with you about your goals, and recommend a design for your smile. He works closely with Cirenia Tobon, a removable prosthetics specialist who leads Cirtech Dental Laboratory. Their collaboration brings the clinical and lab sides of your care together, with opportunities to assess and adjust your partial right here in our office.

Get to Know
Dr. Shah
Dr. Shah has been a periodontist since 2018 and prides himself on being gentle and caring about his patients' comfort. He is detailed and thorough in his explanations of diagnosis and treatment, and loves to provide helpful and practical suggestions for ongoing oral hygiene.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Periodontist?
Gum health is often overlooked by patients and dentists alike, and that’s a main reason Dr. Shah wanted to become a periodontist. Because many patients are better about caring for their teeth than caring for their gums, the perio niche is a unique place to educate patients on the oral microbiome and its relationship to one’s overall health. As a periodontist at Peak Vision Dental, his specialties are gum surgery, soft tissue grafts, bone grafts, tooth extractions, and dental implants.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Shah is all about spending time with his family and friends (many of whom are also in dental and other medical fields) and exercising and fitness. If he didn’t become a periodontist, he would have been an environmental scientist, biologist, or clinical researcher - all areas he enjoys learning about in his spare time.

FAQ
How is a partial denture different from a dental bridge?
A partial denture is removable and can replace teeth in different areas of your mouth. A traditional bridge stays in place and is supported by neighboring teeth or implants. Both can restore missing teeth, but they involve different designs and daily care. Dr. Kanter will examine your smile and explain how each option would work for you.
Who makes my partial denture?
Dr. Kanter plans your restoration with Cirtech Dental Laboratory, led by removable prosthetics specialist Cirenia Tobon. Cirenia brings her lab experience into the office and can meet with patients chairside to see how a restoration fits. That direct communication helps us pay attention to the details that matter to you, from comfort to the appearance of your smile.
What is a Valplast partial denture?
Valplast is a flexible material used to make certain removable partial dentures. Cirenia specializes in Valplast partials, giving us another option to discuss when we plan your care. Dr. Kanter will review your teeth, bite, and preferences before recommending a material and design.
Will my partial denture feel comfortable?
A new partial may feel unfamiliar at first, especially when you’re eating or speaking. We’ll check its fit carefully when you receive it. If you notice a sore spot, looseness, or an area that doesn’t feel quite right, call us. We can assess the fit and make adjustments to help your partial feel more comfortable.
How do I clean my partial denture?
Clean your partial every day and continue brushing and cleaning between your natural teeth. Dentures can require different cleaning products depending on their material, so we’ll give you instructions for your specific partial. We’ll also show you how to remove and store it safely.
Will I need to come back after I receive my partial?
Follow-up visits give us a chance to see how you’re adjusting and address any concerns about fit. Your mouth can change over time, too, so regular dental visits help us check your partial and the health of the teeth and gums supporting it. If something starts to feel uncomfortable between visits, let us know.
